Privacy policy
What we collect and why, how we keep it safe and the rights you can exercise at any time.
1. Introduction
This policy explains how Gruviona processes the personal data it receives through this website and its registration forms, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using the site you confirm that you have read it.
2. Information we collect
Your first and last name, email address and phone number including country code, together with technical information gathered automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page and campaign identifiers.
3. How we use your information
To contact you and complete your account set-up, to provide support, to improve site performance and measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Lawful basis for processing
The consent you give when you submit a form, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
5. Keeping your data secure
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on servers with restricted access, and our technical and organisational controls are reviewed regularly.
6. Sharing your data
We may share data with technology providers acting on our behalf under data processing agreements, or with regulators and law enforcement where the law requires it. We never sell your data to third parties.
7. International transfers
Some data may be processed outside the United Kingdom by approved service providers. Where this happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement so that your data remains protected to UK standards.
8. How long we keep it
We keep data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or to meet legal and regulatory requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict processing and to receive a portable copy. We respond to requests within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
10. Cookies and local storage
In line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the site uses cookies needed for it to function, plus one preference cookie (gruviona_ticker) that caches market prices for twenty-four hours so the price ticker loads faster; it holds no personal data. Details you enter in a registration form are held briefly in your browser's local storage until the request is submitted. You can delete or block both in your browser settings.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and any such data is deleted as soon as we become aware of it.
12. Contact us about privacy
For any request or question about your personal data, email [email protected].
